About The Role

Belong To seek to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation through the next stage of its development. Building on the progress made by the incumbent, Belong To's next CEO will lead the implementation of its 2025-2027: You Belong Here strategic plan. This strategy aims to grow the reach and scale of Belong To's youth work - innovating through digital engagement and new programme models, and strengthening inclusive virtual and physical spaces for young people, whilst also sustaining organisational resilience by investing in people, systems, and partnerships.

This is a pivotal leadership role at a time of both challenge and opportunity for LGBTQ+ youth in Ireland. As the lead executive, the CEO will guide a passionate team, build strong partnerships, and represent the organisation nationally and internationally. Alongside the Director of Development, the CEO also drives fundraising and resource development, securing the financial resources necessary for short- and long-term sustainability.

This influential CEO role demands strong stakeholder engagement skills and passion for, and commitment to human rights and equality to ensure the changing needs of LGBTQ+ youth are continuously met through continued collaboration.
