Partnerships Support Officer

Cork Simon Community works in solidarity with men and women who are homeless in Cork, offering housing and support in their journey back to independent living. We promote a socially just society and campaign for a society without homelessness.

Cork Simon Community is currently seeking applications for the role of Partnerships Support Officer

A member of the Partnerships Team, within the Fundraising Department, the Partnerships Support Officer plays a pivotal support role in providing an excellent donor experience to Cork Simon and Southeast Simon' Community and Corporate donors, fundraisers, volunteers and partners. The Partnerships Support Officer will fulfil the administration requirements and coordination of logistics for the programme of partnerships fundraising and donor engagement activities, events and campaigns.

Some of the key duties of the roles include:

1. Donor Care

o   Respond to queries from Partnerships supporters in a timely and appropriate manner

o   Record all donor information accurately and in a timely manner including, donor preferences, information about giving or activities and in line with GDPR regulations.

o   Maintain long term relationships with a range of donors and volunteers.

2. Administration

o   Liaise with Senior Partnerships Officers and ensure all activities, outputs and records are delivered and maintained to a high standard and comply with organisational policies and legal requirements e.g. GDPR, The Charities Act, Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.

o  Provide accurate and relevant reports on Partnerships activity as required

3. Coordination and logistics

o  Coordinate the preparation and delivery/collection of Fundraising material for all Partnerships donors, activities and events in a timely manner.

o  Fulfil coordination of support material and logistics requirements of Partnerships activities.

o  Supervise Partnerships Team temporary staff and office volunteers.

4. Teamwork

o Work as part of the Partnerships team

o Identify opportunities for, and ensure the effective and appropriate use of Cork Simon Community volunteers in Partnership fundraising activities

5. Other

o Work to Cork Simon Community values and ethos

The ideal candidate for this post will have:

·        A minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, administration, customer service, project coordination, or a similar field.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills with great relationship building and customer service skills

·        Proficiency in IT systems, including CRM databases (Salesforce experience is desirable).

·        Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

·        Knowledge of Cork Simon's ethos and a commitment to its values.

·        Full driver's license and access to own transport.
