Jack and Jill are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Partnership and Events Executive with a strong focus on business development.

This role will play a key part in identifying new partnership opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, driving corporate income growth, and leading on impactful corporate events and campaigns.

You will be responsible for managing a healthy pipeline of prospects, negotiating and delivering win-win partnerships, and ensuring the efficient and strategic delivery of events.

This is a cross-functional role that blends fundraising, stakeholder management, marketing, and commercial strategy.

Main responsibilities include;

Business Development & Corporate Engagement

  • Proactively identify, research, and approach potential corporate partners aligned with Jack and Jill's values and mission.
  • Develop and manage a robust business development pipeline to achieve annual corporate fundraising targets.
  • Design and deliver compelling corporate partnership proposals and tailored sponsorship packages.
  • Cultivate long-term, high-value relationships with business leaders, CSR managers, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and CSR developments to inform prospecting and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative, high value partnership concepts that align with business priorities 

 

Event & Campaign Strategy

  • Proactively identify, research, and pitch for potential corporate events aligned with Jack and Jill's values and mission
  • Planning delivery and evaluation of strategic events and campaigns that raise income and brand awareness.
  • Ensure every opportunity is maximised to drive income, reduce costs, and build long-term value.
  • Manage event budgets, logistics, supplier relationships, and volunteer coordination.
  • Create event concepts and formats that appeal to a business audience and encourage corporate sponsorship and participation.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Stewardship

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners, suppliers, committees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent partner stewardship, delivering value and impact reporting for corporate supporters.
  • Represent Jack and Jill at meetings, networking events, and sector forums to promote opportunities and build new relationships.

 

Governance, Data & Reporting

  • Ensure all partnership and event activity is compliant with governance, fundraising, and GDPR standards.
  • Use data insights to evaluate performance and improve future campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure timely reporting on income and partnership KPIs.
  • Work with the finance team to reconcile income and ensure correct categorisation.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the communications team to develop digital, PR, and social media campaigns supporting events and corporate partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of annual fundraising strategy and income forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Manager to shape proposals, pitches, and strategic funding opportunities.

 

Skills and Competencies required

  • Third-level qualification in fundraising, marketing, sales, or business development.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project and relationship management, ideally in a business development, fundraising, or CSR role.
  • Proven success in securing, managing, and growing corporate partnerships or sponsorships.
  • Commercial acumen with a strategic, growth-focused mindset.
  • Strong understanding of CSR trends, cause-related marketing, and the corporate giving landscape in Ireland.
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and networking.
  • CRM proficiency and confidence using data to drive decisions and performance.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices, GDPR, and compliance requirements in the charity sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Full, clean driver's license and access to own vehicle.
