Regular Giving Officer- Full-Time Permanent Contract

 

Purpose of this post: Cork Simon Community is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Fundraising Team as a Regular Giving Officer.

This role focuses on providing excellent donor care for our Regular Givers, ensuring they have a positive experience while supporting Cork Simon's mission through their monthly contributions. The Regular Giving Officer will be the first point of contact for Regular Givers, responding to their queries in a timely and appropriate manner. The Regular Giving Officer will deliver excellent donor care and carry out related administrative activities to the highest standards.

Some of the key duties of the role include:

  • Donor Care: Provide outstanding support to Regular Givers, responding to queries via phone, email, or in person in a timely manner.
  • Donor Journey Implementation: Tailor communications and engagement to different segments of Regular Givers, ensuring a positive and personalised donor experience.
  • Donation Processing: Manage and process monthly donations through various methods, including standing order, direct debit and credit card, with precision and confidentiality.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and secure financial records of Regular Givers using Cork Simon's CRM.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GDPR, the Charities Act, and Cork Simon's financial regulations when processing donations and managing data.

 

The ideal candidate for this post will have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in fundraising, customer service, or administration. Experience handling financial details and bank account information is a plus.
  • Donor Care Skills: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and numerical precision when processing donations and maintaining records.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, with experience in Salesforce being desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently while also contributing to the success of the wider fundraising team.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities and manage a busy workload.
