Emerald Fundraising

Emerald Fundraising is a face-to-face and telephone fundraising agency representing some of Ireland's largest and most loved nonprofits. We were set up by Richard Dalgety, who has over 20 years experience in the industry and has supported fundraising campaigns in over 60 countries. We run street, shopping centre, private site, door-to-door and telephone fundraising campaigns to deliver the best possible ROI for our clients all across Ireland.

Emerald Fundraising was founded in 2024 in Dublin by Richard Dalgety and named after his favorite Thin Lizzy song. Richard was originally a primary school teacher, whose experiences living and working in Nepal led him to a career in face-to-face fundraising, starting out as a street fundraiser with a large agency in the UK. Over twenty years he has held posts as International F2F Fundraising Specialist at Oxfam International and Global F2F Fundraising Advisor at SOS Children’s Villages International. As well as supporting fundraising campaigns in over sixty countries around the world, Richard has led fundraising operations whilst living in Manchester, London, Boston, New York, and Sydney. Emerald Fundraising has a global ambition to support the world’s leading nonprofit organizations to change the world for the better.

Emerald Fundraising was set up to provide the best possible service to Irish charities in securing long-term, quality donors. We also aim to provide meaningful careers to passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our management team includes leaders from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as a range of ages, with leaders in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s.
