The Munster Fundraising Forum is open to those working for a Munster based charity and to those working as part of a bigger team of fundraisers but representing their charity in the Munster region. The purpose of the group is to share experiences, hear from topical speakers and provide support.

Our speaker guest speaker for the forum is Leigh Gillen, an expert in the fields of Events, Branding & Sponsorship with over 25 years of experience and acts as a strategic ally for her clients, helping them to optimise these areas of their business.

Leigh Gillen Events has been in existence since 2018 and before that Leigh worked with Cork Chamber for 12 years, leading, organising, growing and developing an extensive events calendar of over 100 events annually.

Since establishing the business in 2018, Leigh has worked with a variety of clients in the areas of Events, Branding & Sponsorship, including Air France KLM, KPMG, Irish Examiner, Lidl and many more. Leigh has worked with many not for profits and charities also including 7 years on the board of the Cork Printmakers, 5 years on the Cork Simon Ball committee and a has spent the past couple of years on the Marketing Institute of Ireland Cork Branch committee, where she will take over as Chair in Autumn 2024.
