Job Title: Donor Care and Marketing

Reports to: Head of Fundraising

Location: Limerick/Clare/Hybrid

Contract Details: Full time permanent

About the Job:

This position reports to the Head of Fundraising and works closely with other members of the Mid West Simon team to support the overall objectives of the charity and its funding initiatives. The main responsibilities include maintaining donor records, being the first point of contact for the charity, ensuring supporters are appropriately thanked in a timely manner and engaging with donors online by creating dynamic content.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

·      End to end management of Charity's CRM system.

·      Be the main point of contact for when reports, queries or data is required from the CRM System.

·      Develop a high-level of knowledge of a CRM database system.

·      Ensure GDPR consent details are kept up to date.

·      Maintaining donor records.

·      Ensuring supporters are appropriately thanked in a timely manner.

·      Create and design communication pieces for donors.

·      Guide donors and potential donors through their fundraising options.

·      Mass email marketing to donors.

·      Engaging with donors online and creating dynamic content.

·      Develop a social media content calendar and update accordingly.

·      Develop engaging and impactful content for social channels.

·      Respond to any messages or queries that come through social channels in a timely manner.

·      Keep the Mid West Simon website up to date (Wordpress).

  • General office duties including attending to visitors, receiving cash donations, processing and batching donations, database administration, income reporting and other tasks as required.

·      Some occasional work at evenings or weekend special events may be required to support fundraising events and campaigns.

·      General fundraising duties.

Experience & Qualifications:

·      Experience working in the non-profit sector or in a Fundraising role would be an advantage.

·      Experience in CRM Database management and/or Wordpress is an advantage.

·      Degree level qualification in Marketing/PR or equivalent relevant experience or qualification.

·      Social media management experience.

·      Experience of working with website content management systems and Google tools such as Analytics and Ads.

·      Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to manage and report trends in media and digital data and make recommendations based on the information.
