Job Title: Digital Fundraising Lead
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Work Location: Pieta House, First Floor, Greenhills Retail Park, Greenhills Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Hybrid Role: Requirement to be in Head Office based for 2 days minimum with remote work facilitated as agreed with the Line Manager.
Travel Requirements/Weekends: As Pieta is a national organisation, this role may require travel for work and a willingness to work weekends, evenings and unsociable hours will be required at times.
Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Digital Fundraising Lead to develop and execute a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy focused on donor acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable income growth across key areas, including Darkness into Light, Individual Giving (IG), Corporate, and Community Fundraising.
Reporting to the Supporter Development Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead digital innovation while collaborating closely with fundraising managers, creating tailored digital solutions to meet income goals. With a particular emphasis on increasing income, this is an exciting chance to step into a leadership role where creativity and data-driven decision-making meet purpose.
Own and Lead Digital Fundraising Strategy:
· Develop and implement a digital fundraising strategy that supports acquisition and retention across core income areas, including Darkness into Light, No More Silence, Individual Giving, Corporate, and Community Fundraising.
· Innovate with new approaches to engage diverse audiences and maximize income potential.
Collaborate Across Teams:
· Partner with the Head of Campaigns, Corporate, IG, and Community teams to identify digital needs and create tailored strategies for growth.
Campaign Development & Execution:
· Design and deliver innovative digital fundraising campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, paid media, PPC, SEO) to attract new donors and retain existing supporters.
· Develop segmented donor journeys to nurture long-term relationships and increase lifetime value.
Analytics & Optimization:
· Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, analysing ROI, conversion rates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Use insights to refine and optimize future campaigns, including A/B testing and funnel improvements.
Support Stewardship & Engagement:
· Build tailored digital content to strengthen donor relationships and ensure digital supporters feel valued.
Collaborative Planning:
· Work closely with Fundraising Managers and stakeholders to align on goals, create strategic plans, and deliver operational outcomes.
Budget Management:
· Oversee digital budgets, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and align with fundraising goals.
Key Areas:
· Optimize the digital components of Pieta's flagship Darkness into Light event, increasing participation and donor conversion.
· Develop targeted digital strategies for Individual Giving, Corporate Fundraising, and Community Fundraising.
· Proven track record in digital marketing or digital fundraising, with experience delivering successful campaigns.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (email, paid social, SEO, PPC, Google Analytics).
· Experience with donor or customer segmentation and building engagement journeys.
· Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive data-informed improvements.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams.
· Knowledge of the charity sector. Experience with large-scale events like Darkness into Light is a plus.
· Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
