The Role

Oxfam Ireland is currently looking for a Donor Loyalty & Retention Specialist to join our Fundraising team. This is an exciting time in Oxfam Ireland's Fundraising and Marketing, as the organisation embarks on its new organisational and fundraising strategy. A central part to this is excellent donor care and because of this we are investing in excellent thanking, reporting and decision making, to develop and enhance our donor experience. We do this to allow us to build on the relationship our donors have with the amazing work they make possible with the communities we serve.

The successful candidate will focus on optimisation and development of our campaigns, refining of processes to bring an excellent experience to our donors and in turn to improve recruitment, retention, donor lifetime value, and our donor experience, with Oxfam Ireland's regular giving donors.

To be considered for the role, candidates should possess a range of skills and experience including:

  • A proven track record of using and understanding data and analysis to inform decision-making on delivering effective marketing activities.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work for self and others, and to supervise work where required.
  • Experience of working and building excellent relationships with external suppliers, and internal teams.
  • The ability to be assertive and persuasive when negotiating.
  • Strong numerical and critical thinking skills, specifically the ability to analyse complex data and translate it into tangible information.
