Communications Manager Fixed Term, 12 Months- Full Time

Dogs Trust Ireland CLG is currently seeking to recruit a temporary Communications Manager, responsible for the day-to-day management of the communications function, who is positive, proactive, a strategic thinker and has a flair for creativity.

The Communications Manager will lead the PR and Communications team and will assist with developing and implementing communications campaigns to support the charity's strategy.

This role requires a strong background in public relations and brand management, and proven people management and talent development skills.

You will lead a creative team to enhance Dogs Trust' visibility and impact through collaborative and innovative communications and marketing strategies.

The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust, will have excellent attention to detail.

A Third Level Degree, as well as experience in devising, implementing, monitoring and evaluating successful PR/ Marketing activities is essential.

The role requires a creative person with significant experience of leading successful PR-driven stories, projects and campaigns.
