Rachel Murphy With 20 years’ experience working across strategic marketing and fundraising in both the Irish and UK not for profit sector, Rachel is an established fundraising leader with a track record of delivery of income growth, transformation and successful campaign delivery.

Rachel has led fundraising teams as Fundraising Director at Pieta and Focus Ireland and led the brand and marketing team at Shelter UK- as well as working in FMCG for brands such as Baileys and in commercial marketing at Diageo.

Rachel has significant board and stakeholder influencing experience including as a past board member of Cluid Housing.  Passionate about insight-led strategy and campaign planning, Rachel has led high performing teams to deliver impact and income on award winning campaigns such as Shine a Light Night, Darkness into Light, ‘End Youth Homelessness’ and the House of Cards campaign for Shelter UK.

With hands-on experience of creating strategy for leading charities as well as leading across organisations to deliver results, Rachel has grown income sustainably and across the fundraising mix. Rachel has experience developing income channels across individual giving, corporate, philanthropy and legacy fundraising as well as stewarding donors and delivering lifetime value from large scale integrated events such as Darkness into Light.
